Description
This SAKO L579 Forester is chambered in .243 Winchester. It has a 24″ heavy-profile barrel.
This target rifle comes equipped with a Unertl 15X, 2″ target scope with very fine crosshair reticle. The scope retains its screw-on caps. The scope is mounted using Unertl mounts. Please see pictures.
The rifle is in outstanding condition. The Monte Carlo-style stock has a wide varmint proflile and is in excellent condition with very minimal handling marks.The finish is consistent throughout. The checkering is well-defined and crisp. The bluing is also in excellent condition. No handling marks are seen. This rifle’s bore is shiny with clean, crisp rifling.
Because of this rifle and scope’s quality, we recommend shipping to you in a hard case for an additional $35 fee (see below). We also recommend that the scope be removed and packaged separately, but being shipped with the rifle.

All used firearms should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing. All items are sold as photographed unless other arrangements are made.

Shipping & Handling ($50):
- US shipping only. If your item comes with a scope, we will detach it, package it separately, then include it in the shipped box unless specified otherwise by the purchaser.
- Postage Costs include adult 21 yr old signature required fee to your FFL.
- We will pay the shipping insurance for the amount sold.
- Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $35 fee. Buyer will be responsible for any additional charges above the $50 shipping fee that may occur with hard case shipping.
- Additional fees may be added for long guns with exceptional dimensions and/or weight.
