Description
This Tikka M39 Mosin-Nagant is chambered in 7.62X54mmR. [SA] is printed on the receiver. Import markings are printed on the right side of barrel near muzzle.
We find the barrel, receiver, and bolt to be numbers matching. Floorplate is unnumbered and buttplate is a stricken number. Note that this is an 1895 Tula receiver.
Rarely can we say that a rifle is the way it left the factory, but this has a mirror bore, factory new (Green Model 39) sling, and factory tag. The splicing on this rifle is the seldom-seen pointed style, sometimes referred to as pool cue style.
